The Dove can be worked in Milanese, Honiton or fine Torchon Lace.  A good knowledge of ‘sewings’ is needed as this is a sectional design and is not reccommended for beginners.   Worked in a fine thread e.g. Fil Aux Chinoise 80/2 or similar.

The Dove can be worked in either Milanese Lace, Honiton Lace or Cloth and Half Stitch.   Worked in a fine thread e.g. Fil Aux Chinoise 80/2 or similar.  Not a beginners project and needs a working knowledge of Milanese and Honiton Lace.  This design would make a suitable gift for either a wedding or christening.
