Rose Ground and Spider Mat is worked in Torchon Lace and is suitable for lace makers with an intermediate to advanced level of lace making.  Colour is added for the Cloth Stitch braids and will need extra bobbins for this.  Added colour is optional.

Rose Ground and Spider mat is worked in Torchon Lace and is suitable for lace makers with an intermediate knowledge of Torchon Lace. It is worked in 4 sections, starting at top left corner and working side 1, the pillwis then turned and the bottom triangle worked.  When working down side 2 the threads are joined into the cengtre pinholes with ‘sewings’.

The pack contains a picture of the finished mat, a page of method of working, suggested threads and equipment needed. A page with diagrams of the stitches used and a copy of the pricking.
