Purpleheart Bucks mat was designed many years ago when Pat was learning Bucks Lace.  It takes 45 pairs of bobbins and 3 pairs gimp thread.  Suggested thread Coats Cotton 50 or similar.

Purpleheart is the only Bucks mat we have designed so far.  It was designed many years ago as part of Pat learning Bucks lace.  Worked in a fine thread e.g. Coats Cotton 50 and taking 45 pairs bobbins with 3 pairs of gimp thread.  Suitable for lace makers who haven’t been making Bucks Lace for very long as well as the more experienced.

Pack contains picture of finished item, sheet with a few instructions, equipment needed, suggested threads and a copy of the pricking.
