Diamond mat has a delicate apperance as the fan edging is worked in Half Stitch.  It uses a fairly fine thread e.g. Coats Cotton 50, and  is suitable for most lacemakers past the beginners stage.

Diamond – one of our Gem Collection mats is worked in a fairly fine thread to give a very delicate finish.  The spiders are outlined with a Perle 8 Gimp thread and the Fan edging is worked i Half Stitch.  It uses 36 pairs of bobbins and is suitable for the not so experienced  to the more experinced lace maker.

Pack contains picture of finished item, sheet with a few instructions, stitches used, equipment needed, suggested threads and a copy of the pricking.
