Product Description

Amy Garter has been designed to match the Amy Handkerchief edging.  Worked in Torchon Lace and is suitable for most abilities.  Design includes Honeycombe and Torchon Ground with Cloth Stitch Fans.

Amy Garter matches the pattern for the Amy Handkerchief design.  It is worked in Torchon Lace with Half Stitch Hearts and Rose Ground filling.  A thick gimp thread outlines the Rose Ground.  It is suggested that a fairly soft cotton thread is used for garters to avoid roughness on the leg.  e.g. Anchor Lace.

Pack contains a picture of the finished garter, a page with suggested threads, no. of bobbins and list of stitches used.  No written instructions for this design are included but an enlarged diagram of the pricking and diagrams of the stitches used in enclosed. The pricking has 2 copies so it can be used on a block or roller pillow.
