Course breakdown
There is a mixture of video lessons, demonstrations and exercises, picture galleries to inspire and projects for you to complete.
- In Part 1 you master the art of tambour beading using tricks of the trade.
- Part 2 shows you how to stitch different types of beads, and add sequins too. You’ll learn how to adapt the tambour technique to work with a variety of fabrics, including difficult materials such as velvet. In this module you will also be shown how to create decorative patterns and three-dimensional embellishments.
- Finally, in Part 3 you learn how to create your own designs.
