The Lace Guild

The Lace Guild is the largest organization for lacemakers in the British Isles. Their aims are to provide information about the craft of lacemaking, its history and use; to promote a high standard of lacemaking; and to encourage the design, development and professional presentation of lace.

The Alban Lacemakers

The Alban Lacemakers was formed in 1983 with the aim of keeping in contact with other lacemakers in the area.  They now have around 100 members and meet monthly (except August) at Marshalswick Community Centre.

The North Cheshire Lacemakers

North Cheshire Lacemakers Group meets at Helsby Community Centre, Helsby, Cheshire, from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm on the 2nd Saturday in January, March, May, July and November, and on the 3rd Saturday in September, when they usually welcome a speaker.

The Wolds Lacemakers

A very friendly and extremely active group of lacemakers including bobbin and needlelace, knitted, tatted or crochet lace, based at the southern end of the Yorkshire Wolds, in the area around Hull, although they do have members from great distances.

Tonbridge Lacemakers

The Group meets at the Corpus Christi Church Hall, Lyons Crescent, Tonbridge
